Halley Laithangbam
  1. The prized possession you value above all others .. I would say my parents, my lovely sister Olivia, and my brother-in-law Guneshwor and my few best friends. They have been supporting and helping me with no expectation from my end through thick and thin. They are simply priceless.
  2. The biggest regret you wish you could amend .. Before I take up any action I always have a habit of forecasting or think for the consequences. Thus I don't have any regret so far by God's grace and because of the same reason. And I wish not to have any till my last breathe. LOL!
  3. The film you can watch again and again ..  I have watched so many good movies and it's difficult to pick up just one. The fact is that I definitely can't watch a movie again and again. I get bored easily. LOL!
  4. The person who has influenced you the most .. For me no one has influenced me yet but yes a movie '3 Idiots' did. It really made me literally moved and gave me a super powerful strength that I can never forget. There was a long story behind but I would share it some other time.
  5. The piece of wisdom you would pass on to a child .. There are so many I would like to give but to mention only one, 'Never Underestimate Anyone'. Help can come from where you least expect it. Invest Love and Respect to every individual. You will get double in return and live happily.
  6. The poem that touches your soul .. Hardly any poem touches my soul so far. I find them so fake. I neither insult any poet or poem lovers nor being rude. It's just my genuine opinion.
  7. The event that altered the course of your life and character .. When I fetched the title of Man Hunt 2002 (1st Runner Up) organised by MIMS, I was just 17. It was my life's first competition that I took part. I was extremely happy from within. Reason being that it was not just an achievement but also the key that opened my parents' heart to believe in me and my work till now. I never made them feel down as well.
  8. The song that means most to you ..  Many are the songs I love. Though every song and it's lyrics has its own suitable time to listen. So I listen to different songs and feel according to different moods or emotions, different places, suitable time and with right person or company. That's how I listen to a song and feel it. It's beautiful.
  9. The happiest moment you will cherish forever .. After winning Mister International India 2015 pageant. I left India for Manila, Philipines to participate in Mister International 2015 pageant. When I was there, people of my state and my country had organised a mass rally in support of my participation led by few best friends of mine. It was a surprised to me so when I saw those photographs through facebook, I was completely numbed, shocked and cried uncontrollably like a child. That touche my heart directly and it was just incredible. I wish i could meet personally and thanked everyone who have been supporting and loving me truly.
  10. The saddest time that shook your world .. Not really a major one but when my first crush(She wasn't even my girlfriend that time) got married to someone before I could express my feelings to her. I find it funny now but it was so painful that time. LOL!
  11. The unending quest that drives you on .. I feel 'Quest for Learning' always drives me. Life is a long journey that we can learn infinite lessons from various people, different incidents, different places, different situations and so on. I find it so interesting. My life has been blessed. Thank you God.
  12. The way you want to be remembered .. As a very simple and ordinary person who just believes in simplicity with no ego. As simple as that. I don't have any expectation from anyone even today. Forget about future. LOL!

  6. The poem that touches your soul .. 'Ode to Nightingale' by John Keats. It relates to my heart and soul as it concludes on the note leaving the poet bewildered between reality and dreams. I identify myself with the poet because being an actor I also keep drifting between reality and dreams.

Raj Nongthombam..The Impactful Media Man!

"I am Raj Nongthombam, My name in the certificate is Nongthombam Raju Singh. To be very frank, I just didn't want to be merely known as RAJU or RAJU SINGH. There is nothing wrong in this name but it just didn't sound right to me. I've always wanted a strong name but was already affiliated to the real one. At the same time, I didn't want to lose the attachment I had with the original one. Thus, I modified my name from RAJU to RAJ as R-A-J. R for RAM, A for ALLAH-O-AKBAR and J for JESUS CHRIST.

For almost 10 years, I worked as a media faculty in different Mass Communication Institutes in Delhi. I started two media institutions in Delhi, INMA ( India News Media Academy) for the Hindi TV News Channel 'India News' and HIMCOM (Heritage Institute of Communication & Management) for the HIMCOM trust. Now, I am working for Impact News Manipur as an Executive Editor since its inception in 2014."
